I'm sure there won't be much time for masterbation during free time at RTC. I also think we know that if us males don't manually relieve ourselves of that built up you-know-what, our body will do it automatically after an x-amount of time. If that happens, we might end up having to wear crusty underwear all day. Any suggestions on how to deal with this?

Anyways, the underwear they issue us is white so there wouldn't be anything to be concerned about unless the laundry people look closely at your skivvies. I'm sure they're used to the skid marks and crusty stains by now. No worries, my friend. If you jizz in your underwear at RTC just don't make a scene about it. If it's really a big deal for you then just make a head call when your body decides to discharge and wet your underwear with water so they don't crust up.

I'm not concerned about the laundry people noticing those stains on my underwear; I'm just wondering if there is a way to avoid the potential discomfort of wearing crusty-feeling underwear all day until you can change it.

Like I said, just go to the bathroom and put some water on your underwear or try and "double bag" it. If not, you're just gonna have to wait until you're allowed to change...

This post made me LOL but to answer your question, I personally didn't have a problem and most guys didn't, when you are in there you really aren't ever getting turned on. Didn't really start thinking about it until the last couple weeks because I guess I knew I was getting it soon...There were people in my division who masturbated frequently, I don't know how they did it but they did...One guy made an "X" on the map in the training guide for every place that he did it...By week 6 or 7, he had every single building crossed out besides the drill halls. Our RDC's saw the map and he told them what it meant and they thought it was hilarious, even showed it to all the other RDC's....Some RDC's may not laugh it off though

I never had an issue with this. I was too tired and stressed to even think about it. We had one guy beat off in the First stall in the head and made fun of him but talking to other shipmates it was pretty norm about stall one...Good luck bro.

Here's the deal with that one. Most, and I mean most, won't even be able to get it up during Boot Camp. I don't know what it is there, probably the stress. For the few that can, they find clever ways, usually at night well after taps and not when RDC's are usually doing their walk arounds. Keep in mind too that a lot of division will not allow you to use the curtains on the stalls, can be awkward.

I had the same questions before I left too honestly, and it WILL be the last thing on your mind, trust me. It won't even be an issue.
