Phones in boot camp.

I noticed a month ago a buddy of mine was on Facebook during boot camp. It was like the week before graduation. Today another buddy of mine posted that he graduates in a week. Are we allowed to have phones now or how is this possible?

it might not have been at MWR. it could have been on thanksgiving liberty too. my training group got to leave base for thanksgiving adoption. best day I had at bootcamp. I graduated yesterday. chilling across the street until mid summer. HOOYAH GRADUATION. but yeah, we went to some swanky restaurant and they had laptops and like 50 cell phones passing around the 102 of us there. awesome day.

Not everyone gets to go to recruit heaven. My Chief did not let us go anywhere, and my division was the first division to become sailors in my group that graduated together.
