I am going to be halfway through boot camp or so during Fourth of July. It is a Wednesday this year. What does that mean for boot camp?

I believe it only means we will be on Holiday Routine. So we wont have actual training, it will be like a Sunday. That's probably about as special as our Fourth of July will be. Thankfully I will only have 1 to 2 weeks left.

No, 9/11 is not a federal holiday.

Holidays are just a regular day in boot camp; at best you'll get holiday routine that day. Unless you are a 900 division (Triple Threat specifically, but can also be State Flags), in which case you may be spending the day marching for a parade or the like. The triple threat in boot with me got to do a parade for thanksgiving, which is cool, but I got liberty, they didn't. (Although they weren't scheduled to anyways because they didn't have enough boot camp time to earn thanksgiving liberty anyways so I guess it worked out for them).
