Does anyone know where A-school is for OSs? The PDF located here says Virginia Beach and the Word Doc says Great Lakes. Thanks in advance.

It's in VA Beach.... We actually have an OS here, forgot her user name, but she went thru VA beach...

Anyone maybe have more info about OSs than what these info sheets have? I'm liking what I'm reading, and it doesn't appear I can get the rates I truly want because of TS clearance reasons so that leaves me looking at OS. Any help and other info would be greatly appreciated.

I forgot who our OS was here, I though she when the VA. But, the Navy changes stuff all the time. Beleive me, the person in the know is kforbs, she's got the 411....

I swore in as an OS yesterday and they've got me going to Great Lakes for a 12 week long A school. It was the only job available, and luckily it was one I was interested in!

1. The rating hasn't changed much in a long time, but even if it had, you're not exactly overwhelming us with your baseline knowledge. Updates on what? What do you want to know?

2. Please make a new thread, or go back to the last one you made and try to be more clear, as you were asked to do there.
